The project took 16 months to complete and Gaylor Electric invested 18,448 hours. The sheer size of TOA’s facility required a huge amount of electrical installations for the exterior and interior lighting and computer power distribution systems to connect the machinery and robotic instruments.

In addition to electrical lighting and power, Gaylor Electric installed numerous specialty systems including a complex telephone scheme that required 60,000 feet of cable, a complete fire alarm system with 60 remote detection and alarm devices, a sophisticated sound/paging layout operating 20 ceiling speakers and 30 wall-mounted horn speakers, security access including card readers, cameras and a monitoring station, and a state-of-the-art video-conferencing for secure communications with offices in Japan.

Gaylor Electric completed this complex job with zero OSHA recordables and zero lost time accidents.
