Written by Kerry Aspinall, a victim of Hurricane Sandy
I live in Miller Place on Long Island, New York. We had been without electricity since Sandy hit us, 12 days ago. This morning I left for work and spotted several Gaylor trucks in our neighborhood and noticed they had Indiana plates. I stopped to thank them, with a lump in my throat, and headed to work. When I returned this evening, my porch light was on. I can’t let this go unnoticed. I thank each and everyone of you for traveling to our Island and helping. Sincerely, Kerry Aspinall
